Derek Ahmed is a software development engineer with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has a strong academic background in both computer architecture and behavioral economics, and has since expanded his interests to include machine learning, natural language processing, and particularly reinforcement learning. With experience at Amazon and Clarivate Analytics, Derek is a skilled software engineer with a passion for search and recommendations. Additionally, he has volunteered his time as a head undergraduate student instructor at UC Berkeley, and he remains interested in cs education-related volunteering opportunities.
