Demetris Papademetriou

Demetris Papademetriou is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in financial services, specializing in investments, operations, and corporate development.

Throughout his career, Mr. Papademetriou has worked across various sectors including payments, capital markets, specialty lending, and insurance, demonstrating his versatility and expertise in the industry.

He has been actively involved in advising and investing in financial services companies, particularly focusing on technology-enabled services.

Mr. Papademetriou held a Director position at Knight Capital Group, a leading global trading firm, where he led several M&A and principal investment initiatives in equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, and derivatives in the US and Europe.

Prior to Knight, he served as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at CashEdge, Inc., a financial services transaction and risk management software company, overseeing capital raising, M&A activities, and product development.

With a rich educational background, Demetris graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Engineering and completed his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management with a strong focus on Engineering and Management through the Honors Program.

He is also a holder of Series 7 FINRA registration, further showcasing his commitment to the financial services industry.

Currently, Demetris Papademetriou works as a Partner at Middlemarch Partners and has previously been associated with organizations like AdvisoryCloud, Mutuo Financiera, FlexShopper, Bench.co, Storm King Capital, Equiduct Systems Limited, Ballista Securities, LLC, and Pico Quantitative Trading at various capacities ranging from Advisor to Board Member to Investor.
