Delia Gratta is a versatile mechanical engineer with a passion for innovation, driven to explore a variety of projects, and continuously learn. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and attended Henry M. Gunn High School. She has worked at several companies, including Cruise, Rani Therapeutics, and Sutro Connect. She has experience as an Associate Mechanical Engineer, R&D Engineer II, Mechanical Prototype Engineer, Mechanical Engineer Intern, Student Researcher, and Undergraduate Researcher. Delia has exceptional skills in creating mechanical prototypes, developing and designing devices and products. Currently, Delia is working as a Mechanical Prototype Engineer at Cruise, where she develops self-driving systems combining hardware and software engineering to build optimized autonomous vehicles.
With a right-brained scientific approach, Delia engages with curiosity and creativity in museum wandering, sourdough keeping, and other hobbies such as jewelry designing. She has previously worked as a Studio Assistant at Carina Rossner "Organic" Jewelry. Delia's background in physics and her experience in mechanical engineering make her a valuable addition to any team.
