Dejan Jovicevic

Dejan Jovicevic is the founder and CEO of brutkasten, a prominent media company in Austria specializing in startups, innovation, and the digital economy. He is renowned as a forward-thinking digital entrepreneur, publisher, and media personality.

Starting his career as a corporate lawyer in a global law firm, Jovicevic transitioned to various management roles within the media industry, culminating in his tenure at the 'Presse' / WirtschaftsBlatt media group. In 2014, he ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing brutkasten, which he transformed into Austria's premier startup media outlet.

Following a management buyout in 2017, Dejan evolved brutkasten into a cutting-edge media house focused on empowering the next generation of innovators through a mix of digital and analog services and offerings.

In addition to his role at brutkasten, Jovicevic imparts knowledge as a Media Innovation lecturer at FHWien and serves as the Vice Chairman of the 3rd Senate of the Austrian Press Council.
