Deion Simmons

Deion Simmons is a well-traveled individual with a passion for culture and people. he has studied Portuguese language and literature at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and graduated with a BA in Portuguese from Georgetown University. Simmons has gained a variety of professional experiences, from working as an executive assistant at Atlantic Media to being a sexual health educator at Evergreen Health.

Simmons has also worked as a housing assistant at Journey's End Refugee Services, Inc. and an English teaching assistant at Ministère chargé de l'Éducation nationale. In addition, they have worked as a flight attendant at Delta Air Lines and a social media intern at the Embassy of Brazil in Washington, D.C.

Simmons is passionate about pursuing a career in higher education and social justice, and he is always eager to explore new opportunities and interests. They also enjoy traveling the world and sharing their experiences with others.
