Deeya Bajaj is a Cornell-educated professional with a diverse background in marketing, communications, and business development. She is an internationally-recognized adventurer, speaker, and business leader.
Deeya is the founder of the non-profit organization 'Ganga Vatika Home for Girls' and has made significant contributions as the President of India's national ambassador for the 'Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter' campaign.
With a passion for adventure, Deeya has climbed 6 of 'The Seven Summits' which are the highest mountains on each continent. She also holds the distinction of being part of the first Father-Daughter duo to summit Mount Everest from the North Side.
Deeya Bajaj has a strong advocacy background, having reached over 10 million people through various mediums such as videos, talks, and media appearances, where she advocates for girls' rights in India.
Currently pursuing an MBA at The Wharton School with an expected completion year of 2023, Deeya's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Cornell University and completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at The Shri Ram School.
In terms of professional experience, Deeya has held significant roles in organizations such as Adventure Nation, Snow Leopard Adventures (P) Ltd., and Cornell Outdoor Education, showcasing her expertise in user engagement, partner safety, operations, business development, and coordinating outdoor adventures.
