Deepak Palaksha

Deepak Palaksha is a dedicated researcher turned entrepreneur who is passionate about tackling real-world energy utility challenges through his company, WattWorker.

With a background in electrical, electronics, communications engineering, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Cardiac Data Analysis, Deepak leverages his expertise in industrialization of electronic products, IoT, and machine learning to drive increased Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption in the long-haul travel sector.

As a co-founder of WattWorker, Deepak is actively involved in IoT hardware and firmware development, machine learning, data analysis, and electronics to create innovative solutions for energy-related issues.

In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Deepak has held various roles including Chair of MCAA Norway Chapter, PHD student at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, entrepreneur at Antler, and research assistant positions at ValoTec, LivaNova, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, and Telekom Behnke.

Deepak's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sapthagiri College of Engineering, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Cardiac Data Analysis from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and an Honors Master of Science in Computer and Communication Technology from Universität des Saarlandes.
