Amy Halliday is an accomplished museum educator and curator who strives to make the magic of museums accessible to diverse audiences. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Art History, English Literature, and Classics from the University of Cape Town, Amy went on to complete a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on museum education at Smith College. She later earned a Master of Arts in History of Art from UCL. With over a decade of experience in various museum roles, including Director of the Center for the Arts at Northeastern University and Interim Public Programs Manager at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Amy has honed her skills in exhibition curation, object-based teaching, guided tours, visitor services, and public programming. Her passion for connecting diverse audiences with art history and culture has led her to explore unexpected connections between objects and ideas, leading to fresh insights and new perspectives.
