Debra Alexander is a multifaceted educator, mentor, and creative entrepreneur. With over two decades of experience in cultivating the skills of students with different learning needs, she has become an expert in teaching English as a Second Language, teaching English Composition, and teaching Lyric Writing. She was also a cycling educator and cycle educator for several organizations, including Bicycle Toronto and CultureLink Canada. Debra is a music aficionado, having studied Music Composition and Creative Entrepreneurship through Berklee College of Music and Artscape Launchpad, respectively. She has spearheaded Word Maven Music/Song Maven Studio for over a decade, where she acts as the creative director and principal. Additionally, she was an Acquisitions Editor, Sales Representative, and former Music Profiler for St. Martin's Press and Broadcast Music, Inc.
