Deborah Cook

Deborah Cook's professional journey has been deeply rooted in government roles with a focus on project management and executive liaison.

Transitioning to a more balanced lifestyle in 2012, she diversified her career by taking up short-term project management contracts in IT, mental health services, and community engagement, alongside freelance writing and editing opportunities.

Displaying her expertise, Deborah recently joined World Vision Australia as a grants and communications adviser for the Australia First Nations Program in November 2021.

She holds an impressive educational background, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Writing from Deakin University.

Her professional experiences span across various significant organizations such as Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, Crime and Misconduct Commission, and Department of Infrastructure & Planning.

Deborah Cook has also served in roles that include Executive Officer, Project Manager, Commission Liaison Officer, and Coordinator in government and international development sectors.

With a diverse set of skills and a robust educational foundation, Deborah continues to contribute meaningfully to projects aimed at community upliftment and communication strategies.
