Debbie serves as a vital link between the clinical community and the design and construction sector, bridging the gap and aligning Clinical Workflow with Technology Planning.
Her expertise spans a wide range of fields including Nursing, Interior Design, Public Speaking, Research, Healthcare Design, and OR Integration.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Innovation and Leadership at the University of Minnesota, complementing her previous education in Interior Design at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.
Debbie has held significant roles in various esteemed organizations such as Senior Clinical Consultant at SSR and as an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and Clemson University School of Nursing.
She has also been associated with the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design in capacities like President, Founder, and Healthcare Design Director, showcasing her deep involvement in advancing healthcare design and innovation.
Her past experiences include roles as a Nurse Consultant, Research Nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Staff Nurse at VA Medical Center, underlining her diverse and extensive background in the healthcare sector.
