Working under the direction of registered health care professionals in the delivery of the goals as designed by the Rehabilitation Treatment team to individuals with an acquired brain injury or other serious trauma. This includes assisting in the assessment of clients' functional, behavioural and cognitive skills and contributing to the design and delivery of treatment programmes aimed at reducing the impact of impairments, promoting independence and improving well-being. Tasks may include  coaching, mentoring and training in skill acquisition.Developing care plans and rearranging them as necessary when difficulties arise. Visiting patients, checking on the care they've received and documenting it accordingly.Working with the care team to evaluate interventions and identify where and when further ones will be required. Providing psychotherapy,coaching and counselling services.I have been trained in a wide variety of therapeutic approaches that I mix up  to create a unique approach.Examples  include Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) , Schema therapy , Clinical Hypnotherapy , Emotional Freedom Techique (EFT)  therapy, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)  therapy, Neurolinguistic programming (NLP) , Systemic Psychodrama ( Group dynamics ) . All the above last from one to three years, encompasing tuition, personal therapy and supervised clinical practise (e.g., placements or one-to-one encounters).   In this context, my hollistic approach and my personal interest in the overall wellbeing, led me to gain basic knowledges in other fields  such  as  yoga, pilates and nutritional medicine so that  I can assist my clients in  balancing their “ biochemistry “ which can help them reach their  ultimate  goals.Approach:My approach is synthetic and tailored to my clients needs in order to  achieve synergy.   I usually start with psychoeducation around techiques to solve daily problems.  This  helps getting  a deeper understanding of themselves, awareness of their dysfunctional patterns and familiarisation  with methods how to reframe and progress in the direction of gaining control over conscious and subconscious behaviors.  This  is  followed up  with aquainting them with tools on how to self-set in high stress and demanding conditions.Most of my work includes neuroimaging and brain training protocols based in research around neuroplasticity and visualisation.
