Deb Catalano is the Chief Technology Officer for Ignite XR, a company specializing in AR/VR content creation for Motion Picture and Television Advertising and Marketing.

With a background as an Emmy® Award-winning Design Director, 3D Animator, and Software Engineer, Deb's expertise lies in graphic and motion design, 2D and 3D animation, and computer programming, uniquely qualifying her to lead technology strategies in the realm of emerging technologies.

Deb's specialties include 8thWall (WebAR), Snapchat Lens Studio, TikTok Effect Creator, Facebook/Instagram Spark AR, A-Frame, Three.js, Unity, Cinema4D, After Effects, Maya, JavaScript, HTML 5, C#, and Python.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from California State University-Dominguez Hills, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MA in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Throughout her career, Deb has held various roles such as Creative Director, 2D and 3D Animator, and Software Developer at Commotion.Design, Art Director at Tribune Media, Art Director/Senior Multimedia Engineer at Lockheed Martin, and Lighting Technical Director at Rhythm & Hues.

Additionally, she has worked as a Freelance 3D Animator at Imaginary Forces, Novocom, Pittard Sullivan, and Ring of Fire, and as a 3D Supervisor at Fox Family Channel, Novocom, and Playpen.
