Lead Counsel at MMIT (Managed Markets Insight & Technology)

I was recruited to the business to pioneer a new in-house counsel position for the company, integrating novel strategies and cost-efficient practices. 

I initially worked as the Deputy General Counsel for MMIT, serving as the global legal department operations leader for MMIT and acquired affiliates, including Evaluate, Panalgo, and The Dedham Group (US). I transitioned to leading parent company Norstella as the Associate General Counsel to support the exponential growth of the company. 

I successfully oversaw a team of attorneys and legal professionals across the globe, effectively managing a diverse set of laws, regulations, and international agreements with APAC, EMEA, LAD, and NA regions.

I was appointed to the company as a contracted resource, delivering expertise in contracting, product compliance, product development, international operations, and various regulations, including Anti-Kickback Statute, GDPR, HIPAA, EU MDR, FTC, and FDA. 

In this role, I delivered legal strategies aligned with the business vision in the execution and sale of DME and medical software.

Special Counsel 

I was appointed to serve as the legal operations leader for a portfolio of 9 separate, venture-backed Healthcare IT companies, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while leading the charge to seamlessly integrate all 9 new acquisitions with the parent company.

I supported both companies, Eye Care Leaders, and Century Vision Global, prior to the hiring of a Chief Legal Officer for Century Vision Global.
