Dean Davis

Dean Davis is the President and Owner of TechSpec, a company he founded in 1998. TechSpec specializes in manufacturing motorcycle tank grips, known as Gripster Tank Grips, which enhance grip and control for riders. The company operates out of a manufacturing facility in Minden, Nevada, and has experienced significant growth since its inception, expanding its product offerings and workforce over the years.123

Davis's background includes growing up in a machine shop, where he developed a hands-on approach to problem-solving. His entrepreneurial journey began when he created a solution for better grip on his motorcycle, leading to the establishment of TechSpec. Under his leadership, the company has focused on continuous product development and customer satisfaction.13

In addition to his role at TechSpec, Dean Davis has been involved with the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC), where he has received guidance on various aspects of business management, including securing financing and managing operations.1
