Jonathan Mikkila is a highly accomplished and enthusiastic programmer-analyst with a passion for analysis and a commitment to excellence. He is specialized in machine learning, A.I., data exploration, and time series/frequency analysis. Mr. Mikkila has an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science, where he focused on intelligent processes in the brain, mind, and software. He achieved A grades or higher in fourth-year senior topics across these five disciplines, requiring both hard (bench) and soft science skills. Furthermore, he has a Neuroscience Graduate Diploma, Psychology Master's Degree focused on memory formation and recollection through electrophysiology, and studied at the Oxford Algorithmic Trading Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Jonathan has extensive technical experience and proficiency in C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, Machine Learning, Time-Frequency Analysis, Intelligent Search, and Parallel processing and heterogeneous computing. He founded Mikkila AI, was a Fintech Instructor (Sub) at the University of Toronto, a Senior Machine Learning Developer at Investabit, and a Software Developer at Agile Digital. Jonathan also worked at the Perception & Plasticity Lab-YorkU as an undergraduate lab member, a contract programmer and researcher, and a graduate researcher, teaching assistant at York University.
