Roy Yang
Roy Yang has a diverse education and employment background in engineering, management, and cross-cultural communication. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University. Additionally, he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Technology Management from the University of Washington.
Yang has over six years of experience with The Boeing Company in various leadership positions. Working as the Engineering Director at the Boeing (Zhoushan) Completion Center, he led teams responsible for tool, industrial, facility, and equipment engineering functions. He also managed the contract with the integrated facility management service provider. As a Production Engineering Manager at the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center, Yang oversaw product testing, equipment engineering, and tool engineering.
Yang has a passion for employee involvement and development, co-founding the Boeing Leadership Education Program for Asian American Employees and serving as Vice President of the Boeing internal affinity group. He is a board member of a local non-profit, the MATHCOUNTS Foundation, and promotes math education in local schools.
Outside of work, Yang enjoys spending time with family, traveling, photography, and pursuing his Private Pilot's License.
