Andreas Tiefenau is a physics graduate from Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg, with extensive experience in the hearing aid industry. He has worked in different positions, ranging from an undergraduate research assistant to a CTO architect. His expertise lies in audiology, signal processing, hardware and software design of hearing aids, and the design of hearing aid transducers. He has also focused on system architecture and the integration of new features into hearing aids across all involved disciplines, with a vision to find better systems-based solutions to improve listening comfort for the hearing impaired. He is currently a senior architect at ReSound, having previously managed systems and hardware architecture.
