Kevin Murungi is an international education professional, human rights activist, and educator with over 15 years of experience in global education, human rights policy, and advocacy. Murungi studied Political Science, Economics, and International Relations and Affairs. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Middlebury College and a Master's degree from American University School of International Service.

Murungi has served in several organizations as the Director of Global Extensions at Avenues: The World School, Board Member, Chair Advisory Board, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice President (pro bono) at Global Tassels, Inc., and Director of Human Rights and Foreign Policy Programs, Human Rights and Foreign Policy Specialist, and Senior Trainer at Global Kids.
