Jonathan Beale is a highly accomplished Researcher-in-Residence at Eton College, working out of the Tony Little Centre for Innovation and Research in Learning (CIRL). With a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Reading, he has a wealth of experience in his field, having also completed a Visiting Fellowship in Philosophy at Harvard University. His current research focuses on human flourishing and academic resilience, as well as the philosophy of education and character education. He is a Visiting Research Fellow in Philosophy at the University of Hertfordshire, Head of Public Speaking at Queen Anne's School, and a Research Fellow for BrainCanDo. Beale is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Trustee for Redearth Education.

Throughout his career, Beale has contributed to a range of academic journals and media outlets such as the New York Times. He has edited and written for the CIRL blog, as well as hosting the CIRL podcast. He co-edited a book for Routledge on BrainCanDo's research, and is currently co-editing another on Wittgenstein and contemporary moral philosophy. His unmatched expertise in philosophy, education, and character development has made him a valuable asset to any organization he has been a part of.
