Marcelo Rizzo is a highly-educated professional with over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Capital Markets from IBMEC-RJ, as well as a Finance and Capital Markets MBA and a postgraduate degree in Financial Management, both from FGV-RJ. Rizzo is also a graduate of the Federal Center of Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro, where he studied Electronic Engineering, and the State University of Rio de Janeiro, where he studied Statistics.

Throughout his career, Rizzo has held various leadership positions, including Head of Backoffice and Middle Office at Vinci Partners, where he oversaw the financial control and management of the company's investment operations. He also served as Head of Internal Controls and Operational Risk at Banco Itau Unibanco, where he was responsible for risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. Additionally, he led the Backoffice and Middle Office teams in Asset Management and served as the Compliance Officer for the Corporate division of Banco BBM.

Outside of the finance industry, Rizzo is a founding partner of RRZ Consultoria, where he specializes in strategic consulting, processes, controls, and compliance. He is also a former auditor of systems at Arthur Andersen.
