Ed Reiskin
Edward Reiskin is an accomplished transportation professional with extensive experience in shaping strategic plans for sustainable and equitable urban mobility. Before joining the shared mobility technology firm Swiftly, he served as the Director of Transportation for the city of San Francisco, where he oversaw 1,200 employees and a $300 million annual budget, establishing an unprecedented bike network, reducing traffic fatalities, and promoting public transit usage.
Reiskin began his career in transportation planning, working for Parsons Brinckerhoff in Washington, DC, and then serving in several leadership positions at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). During his tenure as SFMTA Director, Reiskin implemented several programs and policies aimed at improving the quality of life for San Franciscans, including the city's Transit Effectiveness Project, Sunday Streets, and Vision Zero.
Reiskin serves on the boards of several national transportation organizations, including the American Public Transportation Association and the Shared-Use Mobility Center. He is an alumnus of Cornell University and earned a master's degree in urban planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
