Nicola Weaver, an experienced education and development professional, has been making contributions that benefit the economy and society in Africa for many years. Nicola served as VP of Education at iXperience, where she was responsible for improving the educational curricula and fostering professional development for learners. Nicola has also been an adjunct senior lecturer at the University of Cape Town, where she organized the MPhil in Inclusive Innovation degree program to create sustainable solutions for Africa's challenging issues. Prior to working in education, Nicola was the SAB Foundation's manager, where she invested in innovation, economic and entrepreneurial development across South Africa, particularly for women, youth in rural areas, and disadvantaged individuals. Nicola's previous professional experience includes serving as the Corporate Planning & Strategy Executive at SABMiller's head office and working in several departments within South African Breweries. She has also worked with INSEAD and the EU on a joint academic-corporate project centered on developing a toolkit for industrial Product Service Systems across the European Union. She is a graduate of Harvard University's Executive Education Program, Innovation for Economic Development. Nicola holds Economics degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Cape Town, as well as a Value & Policy Studies BA from the University of Stellenbosch.
