Maxine is currently the CEO of STORYVERSE STUDIOS, a interactive ideation, consulting, and production company co-founded in 2014 with author and digital entrepreneur Hillary Carlip. Their first storyverse-- Find Me I'm Yours, is a revolutionary cross-platform entertainment geared toward millenials. This multi-platform narrative includes: a rom-com novel read on the device of your choice, five web series, 33 websites chock full of contests, vlogs, blogs, and endless user generated content.  Lapiduss and Carlip have dubbed this new genre, "a storyverse," and the company was born.   As a lively key note speaker, strategist, writer, entrepreneur and web innovator, Maxine has forged new roads in digital and has been creating innovative business models for short form and long form entertainment.  She has been working closely with brands, integrating and embedding them within storylines and narratives since 1999. Past experience includes: directing TV, running her successful Consulting Company, Lapiduss Creative, working as a Show Runner and Executive in Moscow for Sony International TV, raising money for entertainment ventures, and starting a thriving non-profit for film production in her home town of Pittsburgh.
