Throughout her career, she has worked as a freelance writer for various organizations, including Studio Bonafide, Yard NYC, and Vogue. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor and Writing and Directing Instructor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, sharing her expertise with aspiring creatives. Mehrel's talent and impressive portfolio have led to numerous panelist invitations, such as the Canadian Film Centre and Made in NY Media Center by IFP. Furthermore, she was the Creator and Director of YALA Peace, an organization that spreads cultural awareness and peace.
