Kate Taylor is a talented designer and marketer with extensive experience in the California cannabis industry. She has worked with some of the most recognizable brands in the state, including Jetty Extracts, Big Pete's Treats, PrestoDoctor, VapeXhale, and VETCBD. Kate's unique skill set includes marketing expertise and creative content creation, along with extensive knowledge of cannabis as a longtime user, sales representative, grower, and advocate for the plant. Her networking and marketing skills were instrumental in passing SB 34 (Compassionate Care Act) in California. While at Jetty Extracts, she led a state-wide team that educated consumers about the importance of compassion programs for low-income veterans, the chronically ill, and those most in need. Kate received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from Skidmore College, and has pursued additional education in UX design, graphic design, and marketing strategy from institutions such as UC Berkeley Extension, General Assembly, and Cornell University. She has worked in various roles, including visual designer, brand ambassador, senior brand ambassador, account manager, event marketing manager, UX/UI consultant, and content marketing specialist. Kate is also the founder of Canis Artifex.
