Daniel Orringer
Dr. Daniel Orringer is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in primary and secondary brain and spinal cord tumors.
His research focuses on utilizing molecular imaging technology like stimulated Raman scattering microscopy to enhance the safety and precision of brain tumor surgeries.
Dr. Orringer serves as the primary medical advisor for Invenio Imaging Inc., a startup in Santa Clara dedicated to advancing stimulated Raman histology for simplifying cancer diagnosis during surgical procedures.
He pursued his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Cornell University.
Currently, Dr. Orringer is an Associate Professor at NYU Langone Health and has previously held roles as a Neurosurgeon at NYU Langone Health, Medical Advisor at Invenio Imaging Inc., and Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Health System.
