Role: While Imperva charted a course from $39M/year to $370M/year, was responsible for enterprise cyber security, governance & compliance, product security, global IT infrastructure, networking, enterprise applications / development & helpdesk.

Cyber Security: Evolved the Cyber Security operation from a small targeted function to a broad and strategic foundation of the company. Established the office of the CISO (2014) responsible for enterprise and cloud SaaS security.

Joined MySQL as CIO in 2007 during a period of 50% year-over-year growth to lead the global IT team in preparation for the company to go public. Initiated key projects to address chronic outages and stability concerns in the IT environment. Led critical security, infrastructure and applications projects including deploying a new ERP platform to support a unified view of financial and customer data and renewal activity. MySQL was purchased by Sun Microsystems in April 2008 at which point the role pivoted to the transition of MySQL methodologies, systems and personnel. Upon completion of transition activities, was appointed to be responsible for social networking and social media technology strategy for the 30,000 Sun Microsystems employees.

Joined Qualys in 2006 to head up the IT and Customer Support functions, preparing both teams for high-growth and the transition from private to public company status. Key initiatives included fortifying the Cyber Security program, ERP and CRM platform changes and business programs around industry standard Service Level Agreements for the Qualys customer base.

Joined Verity in 1995 as a systems administrator and was promoted to CIO within five years. Tenure at Verity focused on growing the global IT team and putting in place IT processes, systems and structure to support high-growth periods. Responsible for enterprise-wide application and infrastructure strategic planning and initiatives, established the first IT SOX compliance program in 2003 with a fully unqualified opinion from external auditors in 2004 and led IT due diligence and integration activity for five acquisitions (Cardiff Software, Native Minds, Dralasoft, Inktomi and Keyview Software).
