Gregory Davis
Gregory Davis is a highly experienced investment management professional with a career spanning over 19 years. Starting his career at State Farm Insurance, he worked his way up to positions at Merrill Lynch and Citicorp before joining Vanguard in 1999. During his time at Vanguard, he's held various roles including Chief Investment Officer for both the Asia Pacific and Fixed Income Groups, as well as Head of Bond Indexing. Currently, he serves as Vanguard's Chief Investment Officer, overseeing approximately $4 trillion in funds managed by Vanguard Fixed Income, Equity Index, and Quantitative Equity Groups.
Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Insurance from The Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He's also a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Additionally, he's a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
