Christopher Tomkins-Tinch, a bioinformatics expert and Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University, has a diverse range of experiences that have shaped his impressive career. Christopher studied bioinformatics with a minor in imaging science at Rochester Institute of Technology where he worked for Professor Jon Schull. He has been an intern in some of the most prestigious national labs, including Oak Ridge and Sandia. He has worked as a product and software lead at Sandstone Diagnostics and as a software engineer at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Christopher is also the founder of TakeItApart, LLC, a software and hardware design consulting business. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work on various projects that have helped improve his skills and build his portfolio. Today, he is an experienced consultant and independent contractor in software and hardware design consulting.
