Daniel Jones is a skilled software engineer with a demonstrated history of delivering high-quality software throughout his career. With expertise in Java/Spring and full-stack applications using NodeJS/TypeScript and React, Daniel boasts a broad range of experience across the software development lifecycle. Equally as comfortable working as a Tech Lead or Systems Administrator, Daniel excels in leading teams to deliver complex requirements across a range of industries.

Daniel's career started with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Manchester. He then held a succession of critical roles, including Lead Java Developer and Test Analyst at the UK Government, before pursuing a freelance career that saw him work with clients such as Blitzm Systems Pty Ltd and Seventh Beam as a Mobile Web Developer and Contract Software Engineer, respectively.

Today, Daniel holds the position of Director of Technology at Mercarto, where he leads a team of engineers in creating industry-leading eCommerce technology. With specialties that include Spring 5 and Spring Boot 2, Java EE, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes, Daniel brings a wealth of experience and insights to any project he undertakes.
