Terra Helmer is a dedicated and passionate educator with over a decade of experience in the field of education. Terra is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied History. She also studied Teaching Credential and Secondary Education-Social Science at Humboldt State University, as well as Associate of Arts in Humanities from Los Angeles City College. She has held several positions within the education sector, including Senior Director of Studies, Director of Studies, Senior Teacher, and English Language Teacher, all of them at EF English First. Terra has also served as an Academic Coordinator and English Language Teacher at Academy of New York and Community Coordinator at Stanford University.

Terra is a self-motivated, creative, and organized professional who is comfortable working independently and in a team setting. She is committed to providing engaging and effective learning experiences for her students and is known for her resourcefulness and adaptability. Terra understands the importance of communication in education and is an excellent collaborator and communicator.
