Ziad Makhzoumi is a well-known professional in the world of business and finance. Starting his career with Booz Allen & Hamilton, he went on to work in strategic consultancy and private equity buyouts and restructuring activities in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. He gained massive recognition during his tenure as the CFO of Arabtec Holding PJSC, where he managed the company's financial position during the most difficult economic crises in the worst-hit sector. He managed to keep Arabtec afloat through the worst of times and led it to become the most traded share in volume and value on the DFM.

In 2013, Ziad joined Fakih IVF Group as their CEO and transformed the business by turning one small clinic in Dubai into the leader in its sector in the UAE. He negotiated the sale of the business to NMC Health in 2015, a UK-listed company, at a valuation exceeding US $ 500m. Ziad now runs Prime Strategy Consulting Group, a boutique strategy and restructuring consultancy that advises clients in the GCC and Europe.

Ziad is a renowned public speaker and author, with his latest book, "Intelligent Learning: Competing in Systemic Chaos" offering an approach for organizations to learn and manage speedy changes in the continuously changing business environment to survive and succeed. He has won numerous awards, including The Revolutionary CFO of the Year in 2009 and Most Admired CFO in the Middle East in 2011. In 2023 he was awarded the Middle East CEO of the year in the Healthcare Sector by CEO Middle East magazine.
