Sarika Mendu

Sarika Mendu is a highly-educated and accomplished professional with an impressive background in business and education. Beginning her academic journey at East Chapel Hill High School, she went on to earn BS degrees in International Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Copenhagen Business School. She also studied at The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, gaining a strong foundation in science and math. Later, Sarika earned an MBA from the prestigious Harvard Business School.

Sarika has gained a wide range of professional experience throughout her career. She has worked as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company, an Investment Professional at Lok Capital, a Fulbright Research Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, and a Computer Science Summer Teaching Fellow at The Flatiron School. Additionally, she worked as a 2013 Corps Member at Teach for America and as a Financial Management Program intern at GE Power & Water and Pfizer.

Sarika's diverse skill set includes strategic planning, financial analysis, and project management, among others. Her interests and expertise also extend to education, as seen through her experience as a teaching fellow and corps member.
