WikiProp opens up the legislative playing field by removing many of the barriers to participation. We crowdsource “plain English” versions of complex legal lingo, improve the lawmaking UX, and catch “red flags” along the way that can cost millions in wasted campaign dollars.

I'm a native French speaker dedicated to helping people on their journey to fluency. As a practical idealist, I see your potential and focus on developing your weaker points. I design my own course materials based on my interpretation of language patterns and organization, previews of which you can check out above this section. Above all, I have a fresh take on language learning. Maintaining a gradual, creative, and enjoyable approach is a key part of achieving communication proficiency. :)

My whole program is based on core principles of language learning, such as focusing on words & sentences that directly relate to the student's interests, and understanding the subtleties of syntax. For example, in French we don't say “it's raining,” we say “it rains” and the sooner a student understands these small differences, the easier it will be for them.

Editing layouts for the LIFEPAC workbooks at Glynlyon sent me through some of my fastest professional and personal growth: right from the get-go, I taught myself InDesign and became one of the fastest and most accurate layout editors on the team, completing tasks in half the time it was taking some others.

Originally a contractor through Workway, I was hired in-house starting in February 2015 and put in charge of creating original illustrations for the next set of workbooks. During my time here, I learned to work InDesign & Illustrator like nobody's business, but perhaps more importantly I started forming working relationships that greatly enhanced my time at the company. I learned to avoid passive-aggressive interactions and stay focused on my work quality.

I scored this paid internship in my second year at ASU. The “internship” turned out to be responsibility for all things design, including a company rebranding, application user interface design, and marketing material layout design + copywriting.

Operating under the constant scrutiny of owner Richard Cho taught me to maintain full diligence in my work ethic and leave personal issues at the door sometimes. My only regret is not learning to make rolls.
