Meet Akash Kanojia: a skilled communicator, experienced portfolio manager, and expert on financial technology and ESG investing. With an educational background ranging from a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin to a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law, Akash has spent his professional life constantly learning and exploring new fields of study. He has managed €30 billion of bonds for De Nederlandsche Bank and advised on proxy votes for Harvard's $41 billion endowment. His colleagues have often described him as having a gift for distilling complex ideas into simple language, making him a skilled teacher and public speaker.
Currently, Akash is a Team Lead for the Commercial Paper Funding Facility at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he specializes in climate finance, fintech, and European bond markets. In addition to his impressive professional work, Akash has also dedicated a decade of his life to serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Lineage Project, a nonprofit that teaches mindfulness practices to at-risk youth.
