Teach First for Israel is a sister program of the "Teach for America" organization. Its purpose is to provide equal educational opportunities to all children regardless of their social/economical background or living areas. Teachers are imbedded into elementary, middle and high schools all over the country, particularly in areas with populations of lesser means. It is a two year program, which includes intensive qualification courses and a teaching certificate.

Conducted substantive research to aid legislative staff in policy-making processes. Regularly attended key committee hearings and briefings on behalf of the legislative staff. Responsible for processing constituent services requests and provided tours of the US Capitol.

Participated in meetings with representatives from the Excutive Beanch, foreign embassies, and congressional offices. Trained and managed interns to support overall Washington office operations. Monitored local, national and international media and assisted Communications Director in preparing daily briefings for the congressman and legislative staff.
