Rodrigo Capelato
Rodrigo Capelato has an extensive background in economics and education, holding a degree in both from Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade da Universidade de São Paulo, as well as multiple MBA's in technology and administration. He is the Director Executive and Economic Affairs Advisor for the Union of Maintaining Entities of Higher Education in the State of São Paulo (SEMESP), and a partner in Expertise Educação. Capelato is a coordinator in the Data System of Private Higher Education (SINDATA), a member of the FIES Improvement Commission, the Consultative Council of the Higher Education Regulation and Supervision Improvement Program (CC-PARES), and the Study Group on Higher Education Indicators (GEIES) at INEP. He is also a professor of Management and Educational Law at the International Institute of Social Sciences and University Management at Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo. Capelato has written several books and articles on the challenges and trends in higher education, including for Harvard Business Review. He is a researcher at the Foundation for Economic Research at the University of São Paulo. Capelato has coordinated various studies and conducted research on the profile of science students, the map of higher education, and the influence of higher education on the job market.
