Joanne Pauley is a Managing Director at The Oxbridge Group with over two decades of executive search and financial industry experience. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Political Science, and soon began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.C. Bradford & Company. Later, she joined Korn Ferry International, where she gained Fortune 500 search experience and worked on high-profile searches, including CFO searches for Nike, Times Mirror, and Dole.

Joanne is passionate about private capital and financial practices at Oxbridge. She conducts investment professional searches for private equity, hedge fund, and alternative investment management firms. Joanne has developed deep-rooted relationships with renowned global buy-side and financial institutions, particularly in the Los Angeles community. She has expanded her specialty practice to include distressed and special situation funds, responding to the sector’s growth in LA. Additionally, she manages senior and C-Level executive searches for buy-side firms and family offices.

Joanne spent five years in investment banking, private equity, and executive search. She was recruited as a Junior Partner at Evercore Ventures, responsible for portfolio company management and searches for portfolio companies and Evercore. In this role, she was a client of The Oxbridge Group and, later, was recruited by Oxbridge to become a Managing Director.

Joanne is an active community member—she is a member of Inner Shell (The Painted Turtle), The Westside Guild of Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA), 1919 Member of The Wooden Athletic Foundation, and one of the Founders of The CoachArt Contemporaries.
