Jenny MacMahon is a seasoned environmental professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. She specializes in environmental auditing, where she applies her extensive knowledge to achieve client outcomes promptly and efficiently. As the Director of MacMahon Consulting, she is a certified Lead Auditor and has an expansive network of environmental experts. Jenny has a broad range of technical expertise, including environmental management, regulatory compliance, audit, and due diligence, gained from working on numerous operations and development projects. She has a remarkable capacity to work under pressure, interpret complicated information, and exercise sound judgment while maintaining her impeccable integrity.

Jenny's experience on complex projects, including her role as Chair of project governance committees for large NSW infrastructure EIA projects such as TfNSW Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1, NSW RMS Gateway, and ARTC Port Botany Rail Duplication, gives her a sound understanding of environmental regulatory requirements. She is also a well-respected Independent Environmental Auditor as approved by the NSW Department of Environment, Industry and Planning (DPIE) since 2004. Moreover, she has worked for AGL Energy as the Head of Environment Gas Operations and led the environmental reviews for the NSW Treasury sale of State-owned power stations, among other significant projects.

Jenny has a passion for mentoring women in the engineering and environmental sector and volunteers as a Primary Ethics teacher, teaching young people how to explore ethical dilemmas. Her excellent consultation, collaboration, and influencing skills have enabled her to drive organizational reform, align vision with strategic direction and lead and develop highly motivated teams.
