Mark Lundy is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for sustainable food systems. He leads a 40-person global team focused on developing inclusive, resilient, and environmentally sustainable food systems that provide healthy diets for all. His work involves managing research partnerships with various organizations to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Mark has extensive experience in rural enterprise development with smallholder farmers, including establishing learning networks to enhance capacities for enterprise development. He also collaborates with private companies to create effective trading relationships that benefit both buyers and smallholder farmers, aiming to reduce rural poverty.

As a lead author of guides on participatory rural enterprise development, Mark actively participates in initiatives such as the Sustainable Food Lab, Learning Alliances, CGIAR global programs, and other multi-stakeholder forums. His expertise lies in sustainable food systems, value chain analysis, business models for sustainable trading relationships, inclusive business, and innovation systems involving multiple actors.

Mark Lundy holds a diverse educational background, including a BA in International Studies from American University, an MA in Latin American Studies, and an MS in Community & Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Austin. He has also been associated with esteemed organizations such as the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), Incofin Investment Management, Unilever, and Corpoversalles.
