Vu Dang is an accomplished public policy professional with a wealth of experience in health, human services, education and youth, management, and capacity building. She studied Political Science at the University of Houston and earned her Master's degree in Public Policy from the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Throughout her career, Vu Dang has held leadership positions and worked for various organizations and government bodies. She served as the Chief of Staff at the Department of Behavioral Health in the Government of the District of Columbia and was the Assistant Deputy Mayor for Health, Human Services, Education and Youth at Baltimore City Mayor's Office. Dang has also served as the Executive Director at International Rescue Committee, Washington DC Regional Office and worked as a Consultant at the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the World Bank.
Furthermore, Vu Dang worked as the Assistant Director at The Carter Center, Global Development Initiative, a Consultant at Peace Corps, and an English Teacher at the YMCA Overseas Service Corps, AmeriCorps Language Arts Teacher at Teach For America, and Peace Corps Volunteer at Peace Corps. With her extensive background in management, public policy, and development, Vu Dang has proven herself to be a versatile, results-oriented professional.
