William Reed is a highly accomplished business professional with extensive experience in investment banking and venture capital. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College and has since gone on to partner with innovative companies to help fund and develop their breakthrough products and services. Mr. Reed has served on the board of directors of numerous successful technology startups, including Dooly, Axis Security, Clarify Health Solutions, MessageBird, Benchling, SmartRent, Catalyst Software, Instabase, and Scale AI, as well as Discord, Clover Health, and Handshake. Prior to joining the venture capital industry, Mr. Reed worked in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as a personal investor at Fort Point Beer Company. Today, he is General Partner at Spark Capital, where his expertise is highly valued within the world of unconventional financing and startups.
