Mary McVay is a visionary dedicated to building bridges between people of diverse backgrounds and working towards sustainable poverty eradication on a global scale.

With over 30 years of experience in enterprise development, Mary has worked hands-on in Africa, Asia, and the US, particularly in Atlanta.

She is recognized as a global thought leader and master trainer in market development, known for her pioneering work in knowledge management, peer learning, and monitoring and evaluation.

Mary's specialties include practitioner learning, action research, knowledge management, curricula development, training, technical advice, mentorship, M4P, value chain development, sustainable sourcing, social enterprise, inclusive finance, gender issues, economic opportunities for youth, decent work, and project design with a focus on poverty eradication.

She holds a BA in Social Science with a focus on African Studies from Wesleyan University and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
