Dylan Sather

Dylan Sather is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in software engineering, product management, and political science. Sather graduated from Grinnell College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and went on to study Political Science. Dylan has a passion for building innovative products and working with data. Dylan co-founded the company Pipedream, where he serves as a Product Hacker. He was also a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Science Platform team at Instacart and an Instructor at UC Berkeley Extension's Data Analytics Bootcamp.

Sather started his career in tech with roles at Grinnell Student Government Association and Grinnell College, where he served as a Helpdesk Manager, Training Coordinator, and PHP/MySQL Developer. He worked for Yahoo as a Lead Product Hacker and later became a Product Manager at BrightRoll. He honed his leadership skills by being the Co-Founder and CTO of MailCoach, a startup that aimed to simplify email. Sather is also a former IT Desktop Support Technician at BrightRoll and was their Product Support Manager.
