Mary Donovan

Mary Donovan is a versatile professional with a passion for education and social justice. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from The New School, a Master of Arts in Media Studies from the same institution, and has studied theater at UCLA. Throughout her career, Mary has held a variety of positions that have allowed her to contribute to the betterment of society, particularly through her work with veterans and prisoners.

Mary has served as a Veterans Claims Analyst - CDCR Liaison at the California Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as the Executive Director and Director of Prison Programming at Veterans Healing Veterans from the Inside Out. She has also worked as a Study Hall Coordinator and Writing Tutor at the Prison University Project and an instructor and academic coach at the Academy of Art University. In addition, Mary has held various positions in marketing, HR, and education as a Managing Director at HB Studio, an HR Consultant at Newwork, and an Assistant Chair at Parsons School of Design.

Mary's expertise lies in program development, management, and education. She has extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system and has worked to create programs that empower prisoners and veterans to succeed in life.
