Daisuke Minamide is an experienced professional in the mobile industry with over 15 years of expertise. Currently serving as a managing partner at CyberAgent Ventures U.S. (CAV U.S.), he invests in global start-ups that have a passion to transform the world. His extensive network across Asia helps start-ups to get a foothold in Asian countries. Additionally, he has worked for NTT DOCOMO, a leading mobile carrier in Japan, where he held the position of a start-up relations manager and marketer, helping DOCOMO collaborate with start-ups worldwide, and successfully negotiated deals with Evernote, Flipboard, and Qik/Skype, among others. As a venture capitalist, Daisuke led the first venture round of Evernote in 2009 and served as a board observer. He was also on the board of GCT Semiconductor, where he played an active role as a personal advisor to the CEO of Verient. With an MBA in General Management from Purdue University Krannert School of Management, Daisuke likes to spend his free time playing golf and skiing.
