Prajakta Joshi is a seasoned engineering leader with 20 years of experience in designing and developing high-quality software products for technology giants like Microsoft and Google. Prajakta has a strong background in computer science, having studied an MS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.

In her current role as Principal Group Software Engineering Manager for Azure IoT at Microsoft, Prajakta is responsible for building and leading teams that deliver world-class products that enable customers to innovate using IoT technology. Prior to this, Prajakta held various roles at Microsoft, including Principal Software Engineering Manager for Azure ML, Principal Software Engineering Manager for Bing Local Search, Senior Development Manager for Windows/Silverlight, and Software Design Engineer in Test II.

Prajakta also served as an Engineering Leader at Airbnb and Engineering Manager for Google Cloud Platform at Google, where she gained valuable experience in developing products that meet customer needs while also driving business growth.
