He has worked with prestigious international development agencies such as GIZ, UNIDO, ILO, World Bank/IFC, and various Swiss governmental and non-governmental organizations. Jim possesses extensive hands-on skills in enterprise promotion methods, making him a standout expert in the field.

He specializes in a wide array of Enterprise Promotion Methods including M4P, Value Chain analysis, Entrepreneurship, Low Cost Infrastructure for Enterprises, Export Marketing, Rural Industrialization, Regional Innovation Strategies, and more. His expertise extends to SME Policy and Strategy Formulation, Quality Certification and Standards in the food sector, Capacity Building of BMOs, SME finance, and Impact Assessment systems design.

Jim Tomecko completed his education with an MA in African Studies (Development) from Sussex University and a BA in History/Economics from Concordia University. He has held various key roles in organizations like Aurecon as a Senior Adviser, DFAT as a Senior Adviser, Adam Smith International as an Agricultural Strategy Adviser and Project Design Adviser, and GIZ as Director of Business and Financial Services, among other prominent positions.
