Dayo Mitchell holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Williams College. With a strong academic background, Dayo has held various key roles in academic institutions. Currently, Dayo serves as the Senior Associate Director of COLLEGE/Thinking Matters & Sophomore College at Stanford University. Previously, Dayo worked as the Associate Director for Sophomore College & IntroSems within Stanford Introductory Studies as part of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE). Prior to these roles, Dayo Mitchell was the Academic Advising Director in the Undergraduate Advising and Research department within the VPUE at Stanford University. Before joining Stanford, Dayo Mitchell worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon.
